Ming-style living room

Ming style and modern minimalism resonate with each other, embodying simplicity and timelessness.

In the living room, Ming-style furniture and sofas create two spaces, one large and one small. The blend of Eastern and Western styles, along with Ming and modern minimalism, resonates harmoniously, exuding a sense of calm and inclusiveness.

In the space on the right, the Luohan bed serves as the centerpiece. In traditional Chinese furniture, the Luohan bed is not used for sleeping but for sitting. Its straight and simple style visually aligns with the Verdon brandy sofa. On the other side is a Shell chair, featuring a light and airy design, with a seat and curved backrest that resemble wings. It looks beautiful from every angle and perfectly balances the overall space.

In front of the marble coffee table, there are a pair of armchairs designed by the Italian Cassina brothers, with a square frame that echoes the Luohan bed. Surrounding the living room are large cabinets and bookshelves, creating a contrast between concealment and exposure, heaviness and lightness. This bold attempt to use classic furniture creates a visual clash, with the spatial arrangement not following a fixed pattern but instead skillfully harmonizing conflicts and maintaining balance.

For example, the placement of the lamp stands does not follow a traditional horizontal symmetrical layout; instead, they are positioned at opposite ends of the diagonal in the space. This arrangement aims to break the inertia of visual perception.
